Has Royal Reels shut down?

No, Royal Reels has not shut down, as far as our last check shows. On 16 Oct 2026 the main domain redirected to the current numbered address, which loaded normally when we checked from outside Australia.

What people in Australia experience is a block. The Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) asked Australian internet providers to block Royal Reels in July 2023, and its reports have added new Royal Reels addresses as recently as Apr–Jun 2026. Someone in Australia who sees ACMA’s “Website blocked” page can easily think the casino has closed. It is still running elsewhere, but ACMA found that offering it to people in Australia breaks the law. Our page on why Royal Reels is blocked here has the details.

Incident log, newest first

With no official status page to draw on, this log uses ACMA’s reports, Trustpilot reviews and the company’s replies, one Reddit thread and our own check. Reviews are paraphrased and dated by when they were written. We never show addresses: “numbered address” means one of the brand’s numbered mirror sites, which our page on numbered Royal Reels names explains.

Events by cause

Most entries in the log are not technical outages. They are blocks in Australia, address changes or problems with a single game or account.

How long outages lasted

How long is Royal Reels down for in Australia? For the block, there is no end date. ACMA has not announced an end to any Royal Reels block we read about, and it was still adding new Royal Reels addresses in Apr–Jun 2026. Only two technical faults have any timing at all, and both come from the company’s own replies.

What we don’t know

This record has gaps, and we would rather say so than guess.

  • Royal Reels has no official status page or maintenance notices that we could find (checked 16 Oct 2026), so there is no official outage record to compare against.
  • Outage dates come only from Trustpilot reviews and the company’s replies. A review shows when someone wrote, not when a problem started or ended.
  • Reddit could not be reached by our research tools; the July 2023 thread was seen in a search index only.
  • Four ACMA quarterly reports could not be read: Jul–Sep 2024, Oct–Dec 2024, Apr–Jun 2025 and Oct–Dec 2025.
  • A third-party down checker held no data for the brand when we looked on 16 Oct 2026.
  • Traffic estimates for Sep 2026 are modelled by Similarweb, not measured.
  • Our checks so far were made from outside Australia only. We don’t test inside Australia by getting around the block.

How our own record will work

Once our automatic checks start, we will check the site every 15 minutes from networks outside Australia and record the time, the response code and the response time. A problem counts as Down only after two failed checks in a row, so a single blip does not show as an outage.

Each day will appear in the 90-day bars at the top of this page, and incidents our checks find will be added to the incident list with their times shown in Sydney time (AEST or AEDT). The Australian lane will keep reflecting ACMA’s block. Until checks run, nothing is estimated. Full definitions are on how we check.

Royal Reels outages and shutdown: common questions

  • Is Royal Reels shut down?

No, not as of our last check. On 16 Oct 2026 the site loaded normally when we checked from outside Australia. In Australia it has been blocked at ACMA’s request since July 2023, which can look like a shutdown.

  • How long is Royal Reels down for in Australia?

The Australian block has no end date: ACMA has not announced one, and it added new Royal Reels addresses as recently as Apr–Jun 2026. For the two technical faults the company acknowledged, its replies came the same day or the next day.

  • Where does this Royal Reels down history come from?

From ACMA’s announcements and quarterly reports, Trustpilot reviews and the company’s replies to them, one Reddit thread seen in a search index, a traffic estimate and our own manual check. Each entry names its source and carries a label.

  • What is Royal Reels’ uptime?

We don’t have a figure yet. Our automatic 15-minute checks have not started, and we don’t estimate uptime from reviews. Once checks run, the 90-day bars at the top of this page will show it.

  • Has Royal Reels ever admitted to an outage?

Yes, twice in public that we found, both in replies to Trustpilot reviews. On 26 Sep 2024 it said it was working to resolve technical difficulties, and on 17 Jul 2025 it said it had an unplanned issue and all was back to normal.

  • Why does the log mention addresses but never show them?

We don’t publish casino addresses, because of Australian law, the risk of lookalike scams and our own rules. We describe them instead, for example “one more Royal Reels address” or “the current numbered address”.

  • Can I report an outage to you?

Yes. Use our contact page and tell us what you saw, the date and time, and whether you were in Australia. Please don’t send casino addresses or account details.
