How we check Royal Reels status

Our Royal Reels status check has two lanes: automatic checks from outside Australia, planned every 15 minutes, and an Australian lane based on ACMA’s block lists. Until the checks run, the panel shows our last manual check (16 Oct 2026) and nothing is estimated.

Two lanes, and why

Our Royal Reels status check has two lanes because there are two different questions. “Outside Australia” asks whether the casino’s site answers at all. “From Australia” asks what people on Australian networks get.

Since July 2023 Australian internet providers have blocked Royal Reels at the request of the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA), so the answer in Australia is a block page even when the site itself is running. Mixing the two would mislead people: a block would look like an outage, and a real outage would hide behind the block.

The checks outside Australia

Our uptime check method is simple on purpose. Automatic checks are planned every 15 minutes from networks outside Australia. Each check records three things:

  • the time, shown in Sydney time (AEST or AEDT)
  • the response code, the number the server sends back to say whether the request worked
  • the response time, how long the site took to answer

Each result is turned into one of five statuses.

StatusWhat it means
UpThe site answers normally within 10 seconds.
Slow or partialThe site answers, but takes longer than 10 seconds, or part of the page returns errors.
DownTwo failed checks in a row. A failed check is a timeout after 15 seconds, a server error or no answer.
BlockedThe Australian lane only. It is based on ACMA’s block lists and the stop page ACMA publishes. We do not test inside Australia by getting around the block.
No dataNo check ran for that period, or checks have not started yet.

We wait for two failed checks because a single failure can be a brief network fault between us and the site.

Until the checks run

Our automatic checks are not running yet. Until they are, the status panel shows the result and date of our last manual check (16 Oct 2026), and the uptime and 90-day figures are marked as collecting data. Nothing is estimated or filled in after the fact.

90-day history and incident log

Once checks run, the 90-day bars will show each day’s result, and the incident list will record each Down or Slow period with its times. Older public reports, from regulators, reviews and the company’s replies, stay in our outage history, each with its own source and date.

How we research facts

Our casino status methodology covers facts as well as uptime. Facts come from three kinds of source, in this order:

  1. Official records: ACMA’s announcements and quarterly reports, licence registers, Australian Government pages and the law itself.
  2. The casino’s own pages: its terms, FAQ, AML policy and responsible gambling page. We read them but never link them.
  3. Review databases and player reports, such as Trustpilot and Casino.guru. We name them but don’t link them, because their pages link to the casino.

Where sources conflict, we show both and label the fact unclear. Every fact carries one of four labels.

LabelWhat it meansExample
VerifiedWe checked an official record or saw it directly.ACMA asked Australian ISPs to block Royal Reels in July 2023 (ACMA).
ClaimedThe casino says it about itself. The casino’s FAQ says it is owned and operated by Digibrite SRL.
ReportedReview databases or players say it.Databases mostly report bank withdrawals taking 3 to 7 business days.
UnclearSources conflict, or the evidence is thin.Launch year: 2021 claimed, 2022 or 2023 in databases, earliest dated evidence April 2023.

Every fact shows the date we checked it. We review the facts every week and update the date when we recheck. The country-by-country map uses the same labels and dates for each country.

What we never do

These rules apply to every page on this site.

  • We never link to Royal Reels, its numbered addresses, sister brands, affiliate programme or social channels, and we never print their web addresses.
  • We never say which address works, list “new links” or explain ways around the Australian block.
  • We never publish offers, odds or game tips, and we never score or rank the casino.
  • We never call it a scam or fraud. We state what records show, with dates.
  • We never print reviewers’ usernames, and we never invent experiences, quotes or numbers.
  • We never test inside Australia by getting around the block.

How we check: common questions

  • How often does the Royal Reels status check run?

Automatic checks are planned every 15 minutes from networks outside Australia. They have not started yet, so the status panel shows our last manual check, made on 16 Oct 2026.

  • Do you test from inside Australia?

No. Royal Reels is blocked by Australian internet providers at ACMA’s request, and we don’t get around the block to test it. The Australian lane is based on ACMA’s block lists and the stop page ACMA publishes.

  • What counts as down?

Two failed checks in a row, where a failed check is a timeout after 15 seconds, a server error or no answer at all. One failed check on its own is not enough, because it can be a brief network fault.

  • Is this an is-it-down checker for any website?

No. This site follows one brand, Royal Reels, for readers in Australia. It shows the status outside Australia, the ACMA block in Australia and dated facts about the brand.

  • Why do you label facts as claimed or reported?

Because who says something matters. Claimed means the casino says it about itself, reported means review databases or players say it, and verified means we checked an official record or saw it directly.

  • Who pays for this site?

Royal Reels Status is run by the Casino Status Map project. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or paid by Royal Reels or any casino, and we never link to it.

  • How do I report a mistake?

Use our contact page and include the page, the sentence, your source and its date. We review corrections every week and note the date of any fix on the page.
