How we check

Independent, and not the casino

The most important point first: we are not affiliated with, endorsed by or paid by Royal Reels. The site is run by the Casino Status Map project, a team of enthusiasts, and we can’t see, change or recover anything in a casino account.

We never link to any casino, never publish casino addresses or say which one works, and never explain ways around the Australian block. We don’t promote the casino or publish offers. Our about page explains who we are and how we stay independent.

Information only, not advice

What our status data can and can’t tell you

A status result is a snapshot with limits. These are the main ones:

Limit	What it means
Checks run from outside Australia	The “Outside Australia” lane shows whether the site answers from networks abroad. It can’t show what your own internet provider does.
The Australian lane is not a live test	It reflects ACMA’s block, in place since July 2023, and the stop page ACMA publishes. We do not test inside Australia by getting around the block.
Automatic checks are not running yet	Until they start, the panel shows our last manual check (16 Oct 2026) and “collecting data”. Nothing is estimated.
Results can be delayed	A result is only as fresh as the time shown next to it.
Short outages can be missed	A fault that starts and ends between two checks may not show up.
Address changes	When the brand moves to a new numbered address, our checks can show the wrong picture until we update what we monitor.
Your own device	A good result outside Australia doesn’t mean the site will load for you. Our not working guide covers the other causes.

Facts change, and labels show how sure we are

Each fact was checked on the date shown next to it and can change after that. We review the facts every week, but a licence, a payment rule or an address can change between reviews.

Labels in one line: verified means an official record or our own observation, claimed means the casino says it about itself, reported means review databases or players say it, and unclear means sources conflict.

External links and AI answers

We link only to official or neutral bodies, such as ACMA, Scamwatch, Gambling Help Online, BetStop and the Federal Register of Legislation. We are not responsible for their content, which can change without notice.

The “Ask an AI” buttons open external AI services. Their answers are theirs, not ours, and can be wrong; check anything important against this site’s sources. Our privacy policy explains what those services receive.
