Royal Reels not working? Down, blocked or your device

In Australia it is usually a block, not an outage: internet providers have blocked Royal Reels at ACMA’s request since July 2023. Outside Australia it loaded normally at our last check on 16 Oct 2026. Match what you see in the table below.

Down or blocked: the two status lanes

Outside Australia

Manual check, 16 Oct 2026: the main domain redirected to the current address, which loaded normally. Automatic 15-minute checks start soon.
From Australia
Blocked by Australian ISPs
At ACMA’s request since July 2023. Expect a “Website blocked” page.

If Royal Reels is not working for you in Australia, the most likely reason is the block that the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) asked internet providers to put in place in July 2023, not a fault at the casino. The panel shows two separate results. “Outside Australia” is whether the site answers when we check from overseas networks. “From Australia” is what Australian networks show: ACMA’s “Website blocked” page.

Our automatic 15-minute checks have not started yet, so the panel shows our last manual check, made on 16 Oct 2026. Nothing in it is estimated.

Royal Reels has no official status page. We found no status page, no service notices on its support page and no downtime clause in its terms (checked 16 Oct 2026). The company has acknowledged faults only in individual replies to Trustpilot reviews. On 26 Sep 2024 it said it was “actively working to resolve the technical difficulties on our site”. On 17 Jul 2025 it said “we just had an unplanned issue. All is back to normal now”.

Five causes and how to tell them apart

Players describe all five of these as “Royal Reels is down”. The first four sit with the casino or the network; the table shows how each looks and what the public record says about it.

CauseHow to recognise itWhat the record showsLabel
1. ACMA block (Australia only)ACMA’s named stop page on an Australian connection. People overseas can still reach the site.ACMA asked Australian ISPs to block Royal Reels in July 2023. The quarterly reports we could read list 14 Royal Reels addresses plus a hyphenated variant up to Apr–Jun 2026; four could not be read.Verified
2. Real outageErrors or timeouts everywhere, including outside Australia. The company acknowledged faults in Trustpilot replies on 26 Sep 2024 and 17 Jul 2025.Claimed, reported
3. New numbered addressThe address you used stops working, or people start sharing a “new link”.In Sep 2025 a reviewer said they could never find the site, and the company replied with a new login address. On 16 Oct 2026 the main domain redirected to the current numbered address (our check).Reported, verified
4. Account problemThe site loads, but you can’t log in, play or withdraw.Trustpilot reviewers reported being blocked from logging in (Jul 2025), new document requests and account closures after wins.Reported

5. Your own device or browser. If other websites also fail, or Royal Reels behaves differently on another device on the same connection, the problem is on your side. This is the one cause you can fix yourself, with the checklist below.

The quickest test is the screen you see. A named ACMA page always means the block. A browser error could be an outage, an address change or your own device, so check whether other sites load and look at the status panel. If the site loads and only your account fails, it is not an outage at all.

Safe checks on your own device

Royal Reels not loading, and you see a browser error rather than ACMA’s page? Work through these steps in order. They are safe on any website.

  1. Check other websites. Open two or three sites you use often. If they fail too, the problem is your connection or device.
  2. Reload once, then wait. Refresh the page, and if it still fails, give it a few minutes. Reloading again and again does not speed up a fix.
  3. Clear the cache and cookies for that one site. Old stored data can stop a page loading. Your browser’s settings let you remove it for a single site.
  4. Update your browser. An out-of-date browser can fail on secure pages. Install any waiting update and try again.
  5. Check the date and time. Set your device to update the date, time and time zone automatically. A wrong clock can break secure connections.
  6. Turn off script-blocking extensions for a moment. Ad and script blockers can stop parts of a page from working. Turn them back on afterwards.
  7. Restart your device. A restart clears many temporary faults.

What this list leaves out on purpose. It has no step that changes how your connection reaches the site, because those are ways around the ACMA block, and we don’t publish them. If your screen shows ACMA’s page, none of the steps above will change it: the block works at your internet provider, not on your device.

What we won’t tell you, and why

We don’t publish any Royal Reels address, mirror or “new link”. We don’t say which address works today, and we don’t explain ways around the Australian block. There are three reasons.

  • The law. Online casinos are illegal to offer to people in Australia under the Interactive Gambling Act 2001, and ACMA found that Royal Reels breaches it (July 2023). In June 2025 ACMA warned social media influencers that promoting or linking to illegal online gambling sites breaks the law.
  • Scams. Lookalike sites copy well-known names to collect logins, card details and ID documents. The company itself said in a Trustpilot reply that one “X” lookalike is not connected to it, and in June 2026 ACMA blocked lookalikes of licensed Australian brands.
  • Our rules. We are a status site, not a directory. We are not paid by Royal Reels, and we never link to it.

If money is involved

A block or an outage makes your account harder to reach, and that matters most when there is money in it. ACMA warns that “Australians who use illegal gambling services risk losing their money” (July 2023). When it blocked a group of sites in March 2021, it urged Australian users to withdraw their money straight away.

  1. Record what happened. Note the date, the time (AEST or AEDT) and what you saw. Take screenshots of the error, your balance and any pending withdrawal if you can still see them.
  2. Ask the casino in writing. Use live chat or the ticket form in your account and ask for a written answer. There is no phone line: the company said so in a Trustpilot reply in February 2026.
  3. Never pay a fee to unlock winnings. Scamwatch’s advice is never to pay to unlock or release winnings.
  4. Talk to your bank about any card or bank payment you dispute.
  5. Go to the right body. Our page on where to complain shows who handles what, including ACMA (1300 850 115) for reporting an illegal gambling site.

Royal Reels not working: common questions

  • Why is Royal Reels not working today?

For people in Australia, the usual reason is the ISP block ACMA requested in July 2023, which shows a “Website blocked” page. If you see a browser error instead, check the status panel at the top of this page and run the device checklist. Royal Reels has no status page, so it confirms outages only now and then, in replies to reviews.

  • Is Royal Reels down or blocked?

Look at the page you get. ACMA’s named stop page means blocked; a timeout or server error could mean a real outage, an address change or a problem on your device. At our last check on 16 Oct 2026 the site loaded from outside Australia, so the block is the likelier explanation for a failure inside Australia.

  • Why is the Royal Reels website not loading on my phone only?

If other devices on the same connection load it and your phone doesn’t, the cause is likely the phone’s browser. Clear the site’s cache and cookies, update the browser, check the date and time and restart the phone. If the phone shows ACMA’s “Website blocked” page, that is the block, and phone settings won’t change it.

  • Does Royal Reels announce outages?

Not anywhere official that we could find. On 16 Oct 2026 it had no status page or service notices, and the roughly 20 latest posts on its Telegram channel were marketing posts with nothing about outages or address changes. The only acknowledgements we found were replies to Trustpilot reviews in September 2024 and July 2025.

  • Can you send me the new Royal Reels address?

No. We don’t publish casino addresses, mirror links or ways around the Australian block, because of the law, the risk of lookalike scams and our own rules. Treat any “new link” sent to you in a message or an ad with suspicion.

  • How long do Royal Reels outages usually last?

We know of only two faults the company acknowledged. In September 2024 it replied the same day that it was fixing the problem, and in July 2025 it said everything was back to normal the day after a player’s report. The Australian block is different: it has no end date.

  • I deposited and now the site won’t load. What should I do?

Keep screenshots and records, contact the casino’s support in writing and talk to your bank about any payment you dispute. Trustpilot reviewers described the same thing in late July 2023, around the time the block began, when the site stopped loading straight after they deposited. Never pay a fee to unlock winnings.

  • How do you check whether Royal Reels is up?

We check from networks outside Australia, and automatic checks every 15 minutes are due to start soon. For Australia we rely on ACMA’s block lists and stop page rather than testing around the block. The details are on how we check.
